Export Sales Manager for Fruit and Vegetables

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- Our company: Since 1975, Distrimex has been a leader in the wholesale import-export of fresh fruit and vegetables. We distribute over 50,000 tonnes of goods from all sources to all destinations (Europe / Middle East / Africa / South East Asia). We are continuing to expand internationally, guaranteeing our partners regular, high-quality, competitive supplies, thanks to our knowledge of the markets and our perfect command of logistics circuits.

- The job and your duties: We are recruiting an Import and Export Sales Manager for Fruit and Vegetables, based in France -Avignon (84). Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will manage and develop a portfolio of customers (importers, distributors) and suppliers (producers, wholesalers) in France and abroad. You will join a team of experienced sales people and work with the support of a sales assistance department. In this context - you will build customer loyalty and develop a portfolio of customers (all over the world) and suppliers (Europe, North and South Africa, South America) - you will verify and prospect new customers and suppliers markets independently - you will manage customer and supplier accounts and negotiate commercial transactions - you will ensure coordination with the sales and logistics support departments - you will represent the company at professional events.

- Your profile, training and skills required : You have at least 2 years' commercial training (BTS International Trade / degree in commerce) and at least 2 years' experience in fruit and vegetable marketing. Ideally, you will have gained international experience. You must be fluent in English, spanish o italian language appreciated. You have a very good knowledge of the players in the sector and their products. You have developed good interpersonal skills and a have flair for teamwork. You are a great communicator. You are autonomous, persistent and responsive.

- Remuneration : Fixed salary plus performance based bonus.
