Mini-symposium on Blueberries

The demand for blueberries continues to rise. Currently, the market is facing shortages, which presents several challenges. For instance, how do you deal with the decreasing availability of blueberries, rising prices, demanding consumers, or the reduced quality of blueberries?

During the symposium hosted by Normec, Ludo Tuijnman (Normec Maas Goodacre), Stefan Droogendijk (Normec QC One), Michel Witmer (Normec Groen Agro Control), and Karin Gorree (Normec Innovative Fresh) delved into the following topics: cultivation, product quality and quality registration, the blueberry consumer, the effects of El NiƱo, and the presence of fosetyl-aluminum and phosphorous acid in blueberries.
