New "Inverted Natural Branding" of organic fruit and vegetables

Since the introduction of Natural Branding in 2016, a lot has already been developed. More and more products can be provided with a logo and/or PLU code. Today, with many retail partners, Eosta carry avocado, ginger, mango, limes, pumpkins, sweet potatoes… with Natural Branding, both under Nature & More and private-label.

A recurring wish from customers is that it would become even more visible. This would significantly improve processing at the checkout and the recognisability as organic for the consumer. For example, in the past the company also started using double-sided branding.

Now Eosta is coming up with 'Inverted Natural Branding'. "A technique in which we burn the logo or the code diapositively, i.e. we burn the surroundings but not the logo or the text. This way we simulate the form of a label, creating more contrast with the product's own color. Visibility of the lasered logo thus becomes much better and the customer can recognize the product as organic even better!"
