Founded in 2022, BioMasters, the Dutch organic platform, will, from now on, operate fully under the flag of growers' cooperative FruitMasters. This strategic integration enables BioMasters to actively invest in the organic chain, with the aim of optimally serving organic growers and chain partners, reports FruitMasters. This step lets BioMasters guarantee the handling of organic fruit throughout the chain. Peter van der Schoot. will lead this business unit within FruitMasters.
The past two years have been remarkably dynamic on the organic market. Supply and demand have both shifted significantly. As a platform, BioMasters offered a strong organic perspective to growers and delivered an extensive total organic fruit package to chain partners.
"On the eve of further organic cultivation consolidation in the Netherlands, active investment in the chain is essential," says a company representative. To realize this, the platform will become a fully integrated part of FruitMasters as its own Business Unit under Peter's leadership. He brings a wealth of experience in fresh produce and the organic chain from his previous commercial roles.

Merging with the largest fruit growers' cooperative in the Netherlands lets BioMasters keep growing. “BioMasters will strengthen its organic members with a valuable addition regarding new varieties, advanced cultivation systems, improved cooling, precise sorting, and sustainable marketing of the tastiest organic fruit,” explains Yvonne Witpaard, account manager at BioMasters.
“The organic sector faces crucial choices, especially regarding variety assortment and an integral chain approach. That's vital because green consumers demand organic fruit that excels in flavor and quality. As a direct source supplier, we can respond to those needs,” she concludes.

The integration within FruitMasters will be completed in the coming month. Business and chain partners can get acquainted with BioMasters at the FruitMasters, stand C-20, hall 1.2, at the upcoming Fruit Logistica in Berlin.
