Kwik Lok’s regional sales director retires, successor promoted from within

Bruce Cox, Kwik Lok's director of strategic accounts has retired and the company's own Jordan James has been promoted to fulfill his duties. James will take on a new role, director of North American sales and strategic accounts.

Cox joined Kwik Lok's sales team nearly 20 years ago and brought his talents to several roles, starting as the regional sales manager for Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Montana along with the four western provinces of Canada. He successfully grew these territories and was promoted to Western Divisional manager, taking on the responsibility of helping regional sales managers grow all territories in the western United States and Canadian provinces. In 2019 Cox began a new role directing the company's strategic accounts. Cox has been a strong supporter of the bakery and produce industries, bringing his talents to organizations like the Baking Equipment Manufacturing Association (BEMA) and the American Bakers Association (ABA).

"I have had such a wonderful journey at Kwik Lok and will cherish the memories of working with my customers and teammates," said Cox.

"Bruce has been a respected and valued leader on our sales team and throughout the company. He has been a mentor and role model for others. His contributions will be greatly missed. Throughout his time here, Bruce demonstrated the ability to nurture and support strategic relationships and has maintained great trust with customers," said chief revenue officer, Blair Chastain.

As for James, he began his career at Kwik Lok on the sales team in 2017. Before Kwik Lok, he was the director of sales and business development at Shamrock Sales and Services Inc., a Kwik Lok distributor located in Central California. James is a graduate of Columbia College and holds a degree in Business Administration.

James' new responsibilities include overseeing the commercial sales team in North America and managing strategic customer partnerships. He will lead the development and implementation of sales strategies and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.

"Bruce is a true example of what it means to be a professional," James said. "The way he composes himself and relates with people has been an inspiration to me. I'm honored for the opportunity to continue in Bruce's footsteps and strive to make the same positive impact that he had on our company."
