Peru's agricultural exports continue their upward trend. In the first four-month period of this year (January-April), said sales totaled US$3.020 billion, an increase of 33.9% compared to the same period in 2021.
In this period, traditional agricultural exports reached US$361 million, a significant increase of 416% over last year. The products that stood out in the agricultural-exports ranking in said period were fresh grapes, which totaled US$619 million and accounted for 23.3% of total sales; avocados (US$222 million; 8.4%); fresh mangoes (US$206 million; 7.8%); fresh cranberries (US$130 million; 4.9%); and frozen mangoes (US$107 million; 4%).
