The solutions that we currently offer will lead the future of sustainable irrigation," stated Levi Romero, commercial director of Caudal, at the International Fair of Agricultural Machinery (FIMA), which is being held in Zaragoza between February 13 and 17.
For more than 25 years, Caudal has been offering irrigation system solutions for the agricultural sector and potable water distribution systems for the industrial sector. Its products are now present in more than 40 countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

We have "one of the widest product ranges on the market", Levi stated, consisting of conduction and pressure pipes, irrigation pipes, and integrated dripper. Options that adapt to all types of crops and needs.
"I would like to highlight the application of Rootguard technology, which prevents root intrusion in the dripper, in our underground irrigation solutions. I'd also like to highlight the development of our new pipes with a thickness of 0.63 millimeters; a new option compared to conventional formats that offers the perfect balance between flexibility and resistance, "he said.
"This technology releases -in a slow, gradual, and controlled manner- a harmless active compound that, in a gaseous form, adheres to soil particles in direct contact with the pipe. It creates a protective halo around the dripper, eliminating the need to use herbicides. It was developed in the United States and we've tested it on crops in Europe and North Africa with excellent results," he added.
The main challenge is working with a key limited resource

Everyone in this sector is working on the development of efficient and effective solutions that allow us to take advantage of every drop. In parallel, environmental commitment is an unstoppable trend. That's why we are moving towards increasingly sustainable irrigation systems," Romero stated.
