Stephen Cowan with Mucci Farms on CPMA Vancouver:

“We will celebrate all the amazing work happening in the Canadian produce industry”

More than 300 companies will be exhibiting at CPMA's annual convention and trade show this week. A big turnout is expected in Vancouver as the show seems to get bigger and better every year. "We are looking forward to celebrating all the amazing work happening in the Canadian produce industry," says Stephen Cowan, Director of Retail Sales with Mucci Farms, a loyal exhibitor. "At the same time, the event offers an opportunity to showcase our assortment and share with retailers how we can help them service their customers."

Savorries and new packaging options
So far, 2024 has been all about Savorries Sweet Strawberry Tomatoes for Mucci Farms. "The variety was launched last year and is having a fantastic introduction to the market," Stephen commented. As a sweet and savory tomato, it has a lot of versatility. Sales are driven first and foremost by the flavor, along with their bright red color and a beautiful on-the-vine aesthetic. Savorries are offered in a 1.65lb top seal, and newly available in a 12oz top seal format. In addition, the Mucci Farms booth will feature the company's newly rebranded Veggies-to-Go snack packs that are available in multiple formats. Organic Sapori cocktail tomatoes will also be featured, along with a new paper/bamboo mesh bag to add to the lineup of award-winning sustainable packing solutions.

Apart from welcoming attendees to their booth and networking with industry peers, team Mucci Farms is looking forward to the Innovation Zone and Learning Lounges for great opportunities to find out what's new and exciting in the produce world. The Innovation Zone is an area designated for eight companies to present their products, services, and cutting-edge technology. The Learning Lounges are educational sessions taking place on the trade show floor.

Savorries are now available in a 12 oz. top seal format.

Fresh HUB relaxation lounge
Once again, Mucci Farms will be sponsoring the relaxation lounge. "It allows us to support the CPMA in welcoming attendees to the show," Stephen shared. To fit the theme of the show, it has been named the Fresh HUB, complementing Fresh Week and offering an inviting space that will be equipped with tables, pods, and meeting space, as well as refreshments. It's a place where attendees can get off their feet, recharge, get some work done, or have a meeting. The Fresh HUB will be located right before the entrance of the show floor, and team Mucci Farms hopes to see attendees take advantage of the space.

Visit Mucci Farms at booth #531 in Vancouver on April 24 and 25.
