Axelum Resources Corp., an integrated manufacturer and exporter of coconut products, has renewed its contract with The Vita Coco Co Inc., aiming to leverage the growth of the global coconut water market. The agreement reaffirms the ongoing collaboration between the two entities, with Axelum's chairman, Romeo Chan, highlighting the deal's role in bolstering a key business segment. Chan emphasized the shared commitment to quality and the transformation of coconut water into a sought-after global commodity through innovation.
Since 2009, Axelum has been a primary supplier to Vita Coco, operating an advanced ultra-high temperature processing facility to produce flagship products such as Original, Farmers Organic, and Pressed Coconut Water. The company has also expanded its production capabilities to meet Vita Coco's increasing demands. Michael Kirban, co-founder of The Vita Coco Co., acknowledged Axelum's consistent performance and reliability as a supplier. The partnership is set to drive significant growth in the future.
Additionally, Metro Pacific Investments Corp. acquired a 34.76-percent stake in Axelum, further supporting its expansion endeavors.
