CPMA Vancouver:

Highlighting local opportunities with Canadian retailers and partners

From April 23 – 25, CPMA's annual convention and tradeshow will be held in Vancouver and for Canadian exhibitors, the show holds a special place. "It is an opportunity for our team to highlight uniquely local opportunities with our Canadian retailers and partners," says Matt Quiring, SVP, Sales & Marketing at Nature Fresh Farms. "This event supports and drives the Canadian economy." It is an opportunity to connect with partners and have in-depth conversations. "These conversations allow us to identify our partners' specific wants and needs and how we may help address them."

Additionally, CPMA lends itself well to showcasing product offerings and the associated marketing and merchandising opportunities that can be facilitated to increase sales and drive overall basket size. "We believe through greenhouse innovation we can develop new offerings and provide the market with higher flavor and higher quality produce year-round," Quiring said. "Changing the flavor of fresh continues to be a driving force for us."

Highlighted products
One of the primary highlights this year is Sweet S'NAPS. "They are a category disrupting pepper exclusively grown by us," Quiring commented. It's available in five different colors (red, orange, yellow, green, purple/brown) and has the light, refreshing crispness of an apple that is sweet, juicy, and snackable. "With its limitless usage including raw, dipped, grilled, or air-fried, it's a pepper that is bringing excitement to the pepper category." Sweet S'NAPS are grown in Leamington, ON, Canada, as well as in Mexico, and will be available year-round in 12 oz. as well as 16 oz. Top Seal packaging.

Also highlighted are Greenhouse Berries™, which are picked for sweetness and sustainably grown using 70 percent less water. These strawberries are available from June through September when field berry supplies diminish. "Providing consistent quality, as well as sweeter and fresher flavor, consumers and retailers can count on making these berries top of class." Greenhouse berries are available in 12 oz. and 28 oz. packs.

Ombre Cherry Tomatoes on the Vine will also be displayed in the Nature Fresh Farms booth. "These tomatoes are vine-ripened to guarantee freshness and incomparable taste as they provide a range of rich, flavorful profiles," Quiring shared. Ombre Cherry Tomatoes are available in 12 oz. and 1.5 lb. packs.
