In January-February 2024, Azerbaijan exported 18,335 tons of apples worth $12,104,000 to foreign countries.
This is a significant increase compared to the same period last year, with exports rising by $1,896,000 or 19% in value and, 2392 tons or 15% in quantity.
For reference, during the first two months of 2023, Azerbaijan exported 15,943 tons of apples totalling $10,274,000.
The average selling price of Azerbaijani apples abroad in 2024 was $0.66 per kilogram, up from $0.64 the previous year.
This reflects a 3% increase in the average selling price compared to the previous year.
