Murcian company with a workforce of almost 240 workers has filed for bankruptcy

The horticultural company Cano Nature, which owns the Soleil Royal brand and specializes in the production of the Charentais melon variety, has filed for bankruptcy and applied for its liquidation.

The company founded in 1998 by Asdrúbal Cano filed for bankruptcy after, in 2021, it invoiced nearly 21 million euro and had losses of 1.3 million that year, accumulating 11.5 million in debts. Last year, the company had a workforce of nearly 240 workers.

Concursalistas del Mediterraneo has been appointed as the administrator by Commercial Court number Two of Murcia.
