UK wholesale fruit and vegetable prices - 14 November 2022

UK prices: Strawberries up by 39%, cucumber up by 71%, late season apples down 25%

National average wholesale prices of home-grown horticultural produce in the United  Kingdom and Wales saw strawberries up by 39% from 2.27 to 3.16.

Other late season apples were down by 25%, from £1.09 to £0.82. Cucumbers are up by 71% from £0.75 to £1.28.

Gala apples are selling on average for £0.97 (last week £1,05). Conference pear average sales price £1.00.
