New booth, new blackberry variety, and new brand for North Bay Produce

After two years of patiently waiting due to the pandemic and a hurricane, North Bay Produce looks forward to participating in IFPA’s Global Produce & Floral Show later this month. A full team of North Bay employees will be on hand to attend lectures, do meet and greets, walk the show to see what’s new and host its booth on the show floor.

New booth
Adding to the excitement, North Bay will utilize a brand-new booth. This display is modeled after the corporate headquarters in Traverse City, Michigan and offers unique features to display products and a private meeting room. Another nice feature of this booth is a kitchen island in the center where food can be prepared and shared with guests. Like a home for entertaining, this island will be a focal point and comfortable area for conversations with colleagues.

New berry varieties
North Bay will showcase SEKOYA/LIVIE blueberries and introduce a new variety of blackberries. As varietal development has been a key part of North Bay’s growth strategy for several years, these berries have been grown to be class-leading products and North Bay believes they will be welcome news for those looking for premium varieties. With these new berries, North Bay will unveil a premium label referred to as RÉSERVE. This new brand highlights the select fruits and helps them stand out on the shelves.

Another key element to North Bay’s presence at IFPA this year will be emphasizing the impact and importance of being a grower-owned cooperative. The farmers take great care and are very proud of the fruits and vegetables they provide to the world throughout the year. Many of North Bay’s growers will be at the show and around the booth, allowing them to see what’s new in the industry and interact with many people North Bay works with daily.
