Current director/major shareholder, Martin Scherpenhuizen and Erik Franzen to share role

New co-CEO for Dutch exporter

As of November 1, 2022, the Dutch fruit and vegetable company Scherpenhuizen will have two CEOs. Erik Franzen will join Martin Scherpenhuizen in this role.

Erik will bring the experience he gained at PwC consulting firm and as CEO of Van Oers United. Martin will fully focus on strategic grower and retailer partnerships.

"The Scherpenhuizen family business has laid a solid foundation for continual growth. It can call itself one of the larger players in the Netherlands in packaging, transporting, and marketing fresh fruits and vegetables," says Martin.

"We're pleased with Erik's appointment. We believe it will ensure management's quality and continuity, now and in the future," he concludes.
