The Forums of Ethical Trade (FCE) has announced its new legal form that arises thanks to the push of organizations and companies in the sector that have been working together on this initiative since 2012. "We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Association of Ethical Trade Forums (AFCE)."
The members of the board of directors of the Ethical Trade Forums Association sign the association's bylaws.
The association will be governed by the first board of directors formed by representatives of the sector, i.e. Alimentos del Mediterráneo S. COOP, Aceitunas Guadalquivir SL, Organización de Productores Agromark, SL, Frutas Alhambra SL, Frutas Borja, SL, Granada La Palma SCA, SL, and Conexión Social SL. Its goals include the well-being of workers and their families, achieving the social, economic, and environmental sustainability of the Spanish agri-food sector through the promotion of better working conditions, and the professionalization and transformation of the sector, through the collaborative development of tools aimed at the implementation of best practices.
"We want to share this new stage with all the companies and organizations that have accompanied us throughout all these years, inviting them to continue working together to continue advancing in our objectives."
