Salix Fruits, an importer and exporter of fresh fruits, successfully completed its participation in Fruit Logistica Berlin last month.

After a one-year, pandemic-induced break, the show brought together more than 40,000 quality buyers and trade visitors from around 130 countries, and more than 2,000 exhibitors from 87 countries.

“This edition was an exceptional opportunity to meet customers, suppliers and friends again,” says Juan González Pita, COO and founder of Salix Fruits. “Fruit Logistica allowed us to hold several meetings in person with our customers and make new business contacts.” González Pita also noted another highlight was the ability to have a market overview and present its products, services and new app to more than 40,000 buyers and trade visitors at the decision-making level.

Juan González Pita, COO and founder of Salix Fruits says that Fruit Logistica allowed Salix to hold several meetings in person with its customers and make new business contacts.

According to Fruit Logistica’s surveys, more than 40 percent of the visitors this year were first-time visitors. The proportion of international trade visitors, at well over 80 percent, is also at the usual high level. The trade show remains the gathering place for decision-makers: around seven out of 10 trade visitors are deciders or co-deciders in their respective companies. More than 90 percent of trade visitors gave positive overall feedback and just as many would also recommend the event to colleagues or business partners. Additionally, more than 30 percent have already made business deals during the trade show and over 80 percent made new business contacts.

Next year, Fruit Logistica will return to its original date in February. Save the date for February 8-10, 2023.
