The next editions of AquaFarm, NovelFarm, and the new AlgaeFarm project have been rescheduled from February to 25-26 and 27 May 2022.
A special conference day is being planned for 27 May. During the 2020 edition, the fair registered 35% exhibitors from abroad and an international audience of 15% of the total from the Netherlands, Croatia, Spain, France, Egypt, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Norway, and Serbia.
"We have postponed the event to allow foreign visitors to also attend the event," said Renato Pujatti, president of Pordenone Fiere.
The event offers the opportunity to discuss, network, and keep up for all professionals. There is a series of conferences addressing the most up-to-date topics that are critical to the future development of aquaculture and agribusiness. This year's event will be complemented by AlgaeFarm, an event entirely dedicated to algae culture, the AquaFarm R&D competition that rewards innovative projects aimed at improving productivity in aquaculture. Plus, there is a special conference day entirely dedicated to a series of international conferences, including the IYAFA 2022 (International Year of Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture) seminar, organized in collaboration with FAO, API (Italian Association of Fish Farmers), and GFCM (General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean).
