EU saw 4.228.169 tons of bananas being supplied in 2021

The total supply of bananas in the EU 2013-2021 has roughly been on upward trend, ending in 4.228.169 tons of the fruit being supplied in 2021.

The forecast January to April 2023 production currently stands at 192.053 tons

Ecuador remained the largest Latin American supplier in 2021, shipping out 1.599.818 tons to the EU. It was followed by Colombia, Costa Rica, Panama, Peru and Guatemala, respectively.
