Vietnam branded durians, equal to 90 000 tons, will be on sale in Chinese retailers soon.
This come as the Vina T&T Group and Sunwah Group of Hong Kong's (China) signed a contract on 14 November. They will sell the branded durian as well as create a growing area to meet import requirements.
Farmers will be trained in improved cultivation methods, packing and other will receive more technical assistance.
