Philippines fresh produce farm output expands after earlier declines

The farm production output in the Philippines expanded in the third-quarter of 2022, following contractions in the first six months of this year.

Increases were registered for tomato (6.1%), eggplant (2.3%), sweet potato (2.2%), onion (1.7%), pineapple (1.5%), cabbage (1.2%), and coconut (1.0%).

Less than 1% increases were seen for mangos and bananas.
