South Africa leads the pack with orange imports to EU

During October 2022 South Africa was the leading exporter of oranges to the European Union with 132 455 tons out of total imports from all countries of 157 821 tons for the month. 

The second biggest exporters was Zimbabwe with 13 129 tons followed by Argentina with 5 686 tons, Egypt had 322 tons and Morocco 17 tons. 

Compared to the same time last year, October 2021 with 144 629 South Africa's orange exports are 8.4% lower. In October 2021 Zimbabwe exported 17 818, now it is 26.3% lower.
