The prices of apples in Hyderabad, India, falling rapidly compared to the same time last year (2021) due to a bumper harvest across growing regions in the country.
Boxes of apples trucked into the market are on the increase leading to a drop in prices, which is expected to drop even further as more loads are expecting in coming weeks. Prices are between Rs 650 ($7.92) and Rs 750 ($9.14) for the Kashmir variety, compared to last year's Rs 900 ($10.97).
