Peru: Senasa workers are lifting the strike

Workers of the National Agrarian Health Service (Senasa) of Peru resumed their work today after lifting the indefinite strike that they had been complying with since Monday, October 24.

According to Senasa, the workers' union accepted the unique, exceptional bonus of 2,000 soles that had been offered to resolve their demands.

The proposal was presented before starting the fighting measure. Initially, it was not accepted by the trade union, but after two days of strike, it was accepted that the CAS (Administrative Service Contract) workers and 728 receive this economic benefit in December.
