Calderoni to attend Eima to showcase latest machines

Everything is ready at Calderoni for the Eima fair (November 9-13, hall 25 stand A39). The company from Forlì, which specializes in equipment for in-row and between-row mechanical operations, will showcase its most popular machines as well as the latest introductions.

In view of fall and winter pruning, the rake accessory is more and more in demand. The purpose is to facilitate the shredding of cut branches.

The accessory can be installed on the shredder: it is practically a large brush which is operated hydraulically and conveys pruning residues to the center so that the shredder can do its work.

All of the weeding equipment and accessories will also be on display. "There is an increasing interest for mechanical weeding. Fewer people are using chemicals, while systems that respect the environment are promoted. We have been manufacturing machines for mechanical weeding for decades and perfect our technologies every year," explained Alessandro Calderoni.

The basic machine on which the various weeding components can be installed is Unica Jolly. For example, "piling-up disks" enable to work the soil, upturn mini-soil clumps and, thanks to a blade, shift the soil towards the plant (pile-up). Of course shifting is automatic, making it possible to always work near the trunks.

Calderoni Rolando was set up in 1975 after the owner spent years working for his father's Oliviero workshop. It immediately stood out thanks to the innovations brought about in the fruit and vine segments, especially for the mechanical processing of inter-rows, which was very problematic in the Romagna area. Over the years, the company has grown and Rolando's son Alessandro started working for the business as soon as he turned eighteen.

Calderoni has therefore been creating and perfecting innovative machinery for over 40 years. The requests of its demanding clients are what continuously pushes it towards research.
