Australian Pineapples Field Days 2022

Australian Pineapples Field Days are held each year and include a range of farm tours and practical demonstrations from other industry members.

The first stop on the farm tours was Sandy Creek Pineapple Co.

More than 160 members from the Australian pineapple industry attended the two-day event.

Sandy Creek Pineapple Company has just installed bioreactors at the perimeter of the farm to help with sustainability by controlling flushes of nitrogen into the local waterways.

Day two of the Field Days featured a trip to Polsoni Pines.

Growcom's Tim Wolens did the hosting across the two days, introducing guest speakers.

Delegates were given a taste test of Favco's new varieties - Aus Jubilee, Aus Carnival and Aus Festival.
