Ark Foods is celebrating its 10th anniversary in business. Two notable product launches this month honor this momentous year as the company reflects on the decade.
Back in 2003, Noah Robbins had a “light bulb” moment when he first bit into a Shishito Pepper. Since then, Ark Foods has shown a commitment to transparency, sustainability and vegetable innovation by introducing new and exciting vegetables to the table.
“We set out to change how people think about fresh food,” said Noah Robbins, now the CEO of Ark Foods. “We started this company with a single vegetable – the Shishito Pepper – and the mission to make fresh food accessible to all. Through the years, we’ve built something bigger than we ever could have imagined and this work brings us joy each and every day”.

Evolving from growing a handful of specialty crops to now offering national distribution of multi-ingredient salad and stir fry kits, Ark Foods will showcase products developed over a decade this September during SEPC’s Southern Innovations show.
Their newest creation, the Korean BBQ Stir Fry Kit, delivers convenience with one of today’s hottest flavor trends resulting from a year-long research and development process.
In addition, the company further expanded its Clean Label Eats line with the introduction of new Chopped Salad Kits in four varieties: Caesar-ish Kale, Crunchy Sesame Ramen, Southern BBQ Ranch and Sweet Kale Lemon Poppyseed--all crave-worthy flavors built upon a mix of hearty greens that include vibrant, crunchy toppings and clean-label dressings. The plant-based salads are all non-GMO verified, pre-washed and ready to eat.
Along with these new products, the company’s full suite of offerings will take center stage in booth 722 during Southern Innovations, including its peppers, Mini Heirloom Tomatoes, Fairy Tale Eggplant and signature Honeynut Squash will also be on display.
“Whether you're a passionate veggie enthusiast, a grocery retailer seeking fresh innovations to delight your shoppers or a wholesaler looking to elevate your fall or winter promotions, we invite you to explore our full product line,” said Robbins.
