PIL to integrate China barge service offering into new PIL Intermodal Service

PIL offers river barge service in China as part of its service options to clients who require effective transportation of their goods from ports into inland China. The Singaporean line is working to integrate its barge service offering in China as part of the newly launched PIL Intermodal Service.

PIL's barge service is currently offered in 16 provinces in China, including Shandong, Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guangdong, and Fujian, covering 74 important inland river ports.

The company is also working to extend its rail network to include 14 new Chinese ports: Chongqing, Chengdu, Nanjing, Huaihua, Changzhou, Hefei, Ulaanbaatar, Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Yiwu, Xiaoshan, Shaoxing, Lishui, and Nanchang.

In addition to China, PIL's Intermodal Service is also offered in Africa, Australia, Cambodia, India and Bangladesh, Korea, Latin America, Malaysia, the Middle East, New Zealand, Thailand, and Vietnam.
