Javier Calderon Elizalde, the chief director of the National Food Health, Safety, and Quality Service (Senasica), and Carlos Goulart, the secretary of Agricultural Defense of Brazil, met at the headquarters of the agency of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
At the meeting, Secretary Goulart announced the publication of the requirements for the export of Persian limes from Mexico to Brazil. He also announced that, before the end of 2023, Brazil will authorize the import of Mexican avocado.
