A fully equipped rooftop greenhouse was recently commissioned by the Perspekta Group team in the Kyiv area, Ukraine. It took almost two months of building, in cold winter weather while missile attacks zoomed overhead, for the project to be done.

The greenhouse is equipped with such systems as LED lighting, a high-pressure misting system, an energy-saving screening system, irrigation, and heating which allow control of the climate and can grow crops all year round. The combination of hydroponic vertical towers and raised beds with different growing substrates allow flexibility in the types of crops and methods to grow.
