Vietnam fruit and veg exports to China 44% higher in October

Vietnam's fresh produce exports to China increased by 44% during October, earning them revenue of $152 million.

Exports from Vietnam is set to rise even more as the country intend to send 1.3 million tons of durian to China this year. China spent $948.6 million on banana imports from different countries in 9 months of this year alone, with $212 million of this fruit coming from Vietnam.

Vietnam earned $310 million from fruit and vegetable exports to the world market, a 28% year on year increase until September according to the country's ministry of agriculture.
