Australian potato supplier, the Pye Group has officially opened the largest potato packing facility of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere this week.

The $45million 15,000 sqm warehouse is equipped with machinery which has doubled its production capacity (from 22 tonne an hour to 45 tonne an hour), delivering the highest quality controls, and minimising waste according to www.foodmag.com.au

Pye Group director, Mark Pye, said the multi-million project which has taken 18 months to complete was a critical investment for its brands Parilla Premium Potatoes and Zerella Fresh as demand soared in recent months.
