Turkish fresh produce exports hit $2 billion all time export high

Turkish fruit and vegetable exports hit an all time 10 month high - January to October- rising to 24.6% to reach $2 billion.

This record high export performance comes despite global challenges, inflation, cost increases and the Russian war in Ukraine, both key markets for Turkey. Their overall exports also reached an all-time high, rising 15.4% to reach $209.5 billion. The country has an export target of $250 billion set after reaching $225 billion in 2021. Iraq was the leading buyer receiving $339 million worth of fruit and vegetables.
