EURO-JABELMANN presents innovative vending machine at expoSE 2022

"Products do not have to be weighed and packaged in advance by the farmer"

As an internationally operating machine supplier, among others for potato and vegetable technology, EURO-JABELMANN Maschinenbau Ltd has already been a fixed exhibitor at many trade fairs for many years. At this year's expoSE in Karlsruhe, the Lower Saxony-based company will put a spotlight on the Jafix UA3, a modern vending machine for various potatoes and/or onions in bulk.

Without prior weighing and without packaging material, the goods are fed into the dosing unit with three containers of 100 liters each. These are placed in a lockable enclosure made of aluminum-laminated sandwich panels. Consumers can make individual selections via the SysTec weighing unit with a weighing range of 1 to 5 kg. "In this vending machine, the products are not weighed until the consumer selects them, and they are dispensed loose into a container they bring with them. Accordingly, the products do not have to be weighed and packaged in advance by the farmer," says Managing Director Gitti Veurink-Bosmann.

Focus on sustainability
An additional benefit in terms of the environment is that bulk delivery saves packaging material, Veurink-Bosmann continues. "There is a special focus on sustainability here, which is ultimately in the interest of both the direct marketer and the consumer. Because the farmer in question doesn't need to buy additional packaging material, so the consumer, in turn, won't have to dispose of any waste."

Additionally, the model is equipped with a cashless payment unit for payment by card or smartphone, which should provide the vending machine with optimum protection against vandalism. The goods are taken away by the consumer in the container he or she brings along. The range of products can be extended on request. Optional is the operation with solar panels as well as anti-freeze heating.
