Cameroon saw an improvement of 2.25% in banana exports for October 2022 compared to the same time last year.
A total of 17 930 tons of bananas was exported compared to last year's 17 535 tons. Cameroon's banana association Assobacam, said they expect a further improvement in export volumes. This comes as two production sites, that were burned down by separatist militias and idle for five years, will soon be operational again.
