Windset Farms began as a four-acre bell pepper greenhouse in Abbotsford, B.C., in 1996. In 25 years, the company has grown to more than 1,000 acres of Controlled Environmental Agriculture (CEA) with production facilities across North America. "We are one of the largest (CEA) producers and marketers of sustainable, greenhouse-grown produce in North America," says John Newell, owner, and COO of Windset Farms. This includes extensive operations in British Columbia, California, and Mexico. Windset is looking forward to once again showcasing their wide range of greenhouse-grown produce at IFPA's Global Produce and Floral Show. The company's offering includes tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, lettuce, and organics.
