The XIX International Banana Convention in Ecuador will focus on the reactivation of the sector

The XIX International Banana Convention, the most important meeting of the national and international banana sector, will be held in Guayaquil from October 25 to 28. This edition of the event will focus on issues related to the reactivation and innovation of the banana sector, according to the Association of Banana Exporters of Ecuador (AEBE).

More than 80 companies from the industry will participate in the event with the aim of strengthening and expanding commercial relations between all the actors in the value chain: exporters, producers, entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, investors, and suppliers.

There will be business conferences and keynote talks on different topics, such as shared responsibility and the impact of the EU Due Diligence Law, the "From farm to table" initiative, the evolution of labor sustainability in the banana sector, Ecuador's competitiveness, research advances, and security in the banana value chain.

In addition, there will be commercial exhibitions and more than 50 stands where important companies in the industry and their value chain worldwide will showcase their products.

The Banana Awards will also be the space for rewarding and recognizing the performance and effort of banana exporting companies.
