Nearly 44% of potatoes harvested in Belarus

According to the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry, Belarusian growers have gathered in potatoes from 11,400 hectares which is 43.8% of the area under this crop.

Agri enterprises have harvested cereals and leguminous crops (including maize) from 2.176 million hectares, which is 88.1% of the targeted area.

Progress was at 90% (362,000ha) in Brest Oblast, 98.5% (352,000ha) in Vitebsk Oblast, 84.6% (353,300ha) in Gomel Oblast, 88% (312,900ha) in Grodno Oblast, 84.9% (458,900ha) in Minsk Oblast, and 85.3% (337,300ha) in Mogilev Oblast. All in all, 8.071 million tonnes of grain was threshed by agricultural enterprises and private farms.
