Aldi increases purchases of bananas from Canary Islands

Aldi has increased the purchase of Canarian bananas by 10% in all its supermarkets. The company will sell 4.8 tons of bananas from the Canary Islands this year both in its stores on the peninsula, and in the more than ten that will open until the end of the year in the archipelago.

In addition to this product, the shelves of supermarkets in the Canary Islands will have nearly 330 articles of Canarian origin, which come from more than 40 producers on the islands. Among them, fresh products stand out (fruit, vegetables, meat and fish), which come mostly from local suppliers.
