"Shipping delays, and the freshness of pears, have a direct impact on the profit margin of visiting traders"

The new pear season is about to begin. Weather conditions in major production areas have been good in the last few weeks. So the harvest is expected to turn out alright. Traders with storage facilities are already preparing post-harvest fresh-keeping treatment for the new harvest of pears. However, cargo space is still limited, shipping fees are high, and shipping is often delayed. And the freshness of pears will have a direct impact on the profit margin of visiting traders.

SPM Biosciences (Beijing) Inc. provides specialized fresh-keeping services and products. Company spokesperson Debby recently talked about their Angel Fresh product, which keeps fruit fresh for longer during transport and in storage.

"Production areas across the globe already combine cold storage and transport with the use of 1-MCP to keep fruit fresh for longer. 1-MCP is a highly effective post-harvest fresh-keeping product that can effectively extend the shelf life of pears and reduce the loss of fruit during shipping delays, keep fruit firm, and avoid changes in flavor. 1-MCP helps deliver clients with fresh pears that have a longer shelf life," explained Debby. "1-MCP can be used in cold storage and during transport, and when combined with low temperatures or air-conditioning, 1-MCP can keep the pears fresh for even longer."

In addition to the use of 1-MCP in cold storage and during transport, a number of retailers have also started using fresh-keeping products in the retail market. "A number of importers and exporters have made inquiries with us about Angel Fresh sachets. They are extremely simple to use and convenient. Clients only need to place the sachet inside a box of fruit and that is all," said Debby. "We can also provide customized fresh-keeping solutions based on packaging type and usage."

SPM Biosciences (Beijing) is a professional fresh keeping company in China with their own R&D, analysis team, and service team. The company has almost 10 years of experience in the Chinese market. SPM Biosciences (Beijing) is already authorized in Argentina and the Dominican Republic and is looking for partners in other countries.

“In addition to our many fresh-keeping products, we hope to work together with vegetable wholesalers, exporters, packers, and commissioned merchants to reduce wastage in the vegetable supply chain. SPM Biosciences (Beijing) can provide free samples if any one has interest.”
