Registration open for the fifth edition

The Rome Table comes back on 3rd and 4th November

The fifth edition of The Rome Table, the international B2B dedicated to fruit and vegetable trade, organised by Omnibus, a company belonging to the Gemma Editco Group, will be held in the capital of Italy, at the A. Roma Lifestyle Hotel, on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th November, with the confirmed support of partners Fruitimprese, Italia Ortofrutta Unione Nazionale, CSO Italy, Italmercati and Confagricoltura.

The particular national and international situation, characterised by problems that represent a brake on the expansion of production and trade, requires not only moments of reflection and adequate countermeasures by decision-makers, but also operational meetings oriented towards the exchange of information with a prospect of relaunching and developing business. The Rome Table, for its features, meets this need, which has become even more crucial than usual.

On one side we have the Italian fruit and vegetable offer, with a confirmed focus on productions from the South and the Centre of Italy (without however omitting the North), and on the other side the demand from the domestic and international market.

In addition to middle and large-scale retailers, Italian on-trade and e-commerce, there will be numerous foreign attendees, who will add to the event.

This year the focus countries, from which buyer-importers are expected, are for Europe: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Poland, the Czech Republic and Sweden; for the non-EU area special attention will be paid this year to Indonesia. Countries such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are also confirmed. Other attendances from Eastern and Far-Eastern markets are currently under evaluation.

The organisation of The Rome Table 2022 has started in recent days and if on one hand contacts with Italian and foreign buyers are proceeding, on the other hand registrations for production and commercial companies interested in consolidating and increasing their sales are open from Tuesday 21st June until 11th October.

The maximum number of participants for the Italian part is 120 companies.

The formula of The Rome Table is confirmed: four business sessions spread over the two days, with meetings of 20 minutes each scheduled in advance in order to optimise, on the basis of the answers to a questionnaire sent to participants, the matching between demand and supply.
