Lipman Family Farms

Full lineup of organics highlighted

Lipman Family Farms will showcase the breadth of its organic produce lineup at the upcoming Organic Produce Summit, furthering the company’s solutions-oriented approach to being a one-stop shop for customers and consumers.

This lineup will include Lipman’s 100 percent compostable packaging offerings for its organic grape tomatoes, mini cucumbers, mini sweet peppers, and green beans. The packaging meets the growing demand for environmentally friendly products and sourcing while maintaining strong shelf life.

The compostable packaging is shelf-ready with a clamshell design that ensures ease in stacking and increased efficiencies in the retail space while offering consumers a fully at-home compostable solution. The pack features a QR code that outlines the step-by-step process on how to compost, making it easier for consumers to reduce their environmental footprint.

According to the Organic Produce Network, organic prices have risen on average by 4.9 percent, while conventional prices have risen by 10.4 percent during 2022 Q1. As the price gap between conventional and organic produce closes in, this could impact consumers’ decision-making when selecting their preferred growing method.

“As a result of inflation making an impact on retail pricing, consumers could potentially adjust the decisions they make when shopping and selecting their go-to ingredients,” said Leetha Reynolds, national retail sales manager at Lipman Family Farms. “There is potential for organics to steadily increase as consumers decide they’re willing to pay the less dramatic price premium for an organic product.”

The Grown True line is grown exclusively in organic acreage across North America to ensure supply throughout the year. Grown and harvested without the use of synthetic fertilizers, the Grown True line is USDA certified and holds the highest standards of food safety.

Stop by Lipman Family Farms’ booth 416 at the Organic Produce Summit on July 14 in Monterey, California, to check out its Grown True line of products and take a closer look at the expanded compostable packaging line. Sales representatives will be available to provide more information on the company’s organic and sustainable solutions.
