Footwear collection uses product, discarded by juice or wine industry

Renner presents shoes made with grape leftovers

Lojas Renner (Renner Stores), the largest Brazilian department stores clothing company, has devised another collection of Selo Re – Responsible Fashion. Manufactured from grape residue discarded by the juice or  wine industry, three models of shoes and one sneaker have hit the market. These products contain grape residues not used by other chains.

Versatility is the great motto of the collection of shoes made from grape residue. In mild tones (beige, baby pink, black and brown), the collection is now available in physical stores or via the brand's sites.

“We believe that the way to build an increasingly responsible fashion involves developing innovative and still unconventional raw materials. With that in mind, we did collaborative work, engaging our supply chain and other partners in a project that encourages the circular economy,” says Lojas Renner Style director Fernanda Feijó.
