On June 21st, Monte Alegre dos Campos is set to hold the Second Meeting of Small Fruit Producers, in the community hall of Capela Nossa Senhora do Carmo. The event is promoted by Emater/RS-Ascar, City Hall and Grupo Rizzoto.
The program will start at 8:30 am and it will include lectures with professionals from the promoting entities on the management of blackberry, raspberry and strawberry crops, small fruit market and good harvesting practices. In the afternoon, activities will be in the field, with visits to two properties that produce blackberries, raspberries and strawberries.
