Meyer Diai, Croc’Ella:

Demand for dehydrated fruit and antipasti has grown with the Covid crisis

This year, Meyer Diai and Jonathan Assedou came to medFEL as exhibitors for the first time in order to present their range of olives and dried fruit. “We represent the Croc’Ella brand of the ASD Distribution Group. We import and roast dried fruit in short circuits, and the products we offer are without artificial coloring or preservatives,” explains Meyer Diai, sales manager of the Croc’Ella brand at ASD Distribution, located in Marseille.

The company flavors the dried fruit itself and offers products with original flavors such as cashew nuts with curry or coriander, and almonds flavored with garlic or herbs. The company’s growth has accelerated since the sanitary crisis. Our sector is fully developing in France, where aperitifs with appetizers are commonplace. French consumers are also searching for healthier and more natural products. We are in full expansion, with new processes and projects underway.”

For the moment, the company is mainly present on the French market, but it does not exclude the possibility to develop exports in the near future.
