A Danish delegation visits Frutas Esther's facilities in Cartaya

Leaders of the City of Copenhagen (Denmark) and the ‘Business & Human Rights Resource Centre' NGO, accompanied by representatives of the city council of Cartaya, visited the accommodation for workers of the Huelva company Frutas Esther in Cartaya (Huelva) to learn first-hand about the entity's social responsibility model.

The goal of the visit, according to the City Council, was to verify how the best fruits, which are consumed in the Danish capital in school canteens and senior residences, among other spaces, are produced in Cartaya and, most importantly, to see how the workers of our town are managed and cared for, stated Pepa Gonzalez Bayo, mayor of Cartaya.

In the course of the visit, the Danish delegation checked the product's production and quality process on the spot. They visited the accommodations that the company provides for workers who travel to the town during the campaign and learned in detail about the company's hiring and social responsibility model.
