Largest papaya tree in the world found in Paraná, Brazil

The largest papaya tree in the world has been found in western Paraná. The tree was verified by the Guinness Book of September 2, 2021. The tree is 14 meters and 55 centimeters high. Local farmer Tarcísio Folts, who encountered it, comments that he had to get closer to be sure. Upon finding the tree, Tarcísio called his friend and farmer, Gilberto Franz, who has owned the land for over twenty years.

“I said: Let’s go to drink, Guinness,” Gilberto said.
