Turatti acquires Tecnoceam

Turatti have announced the finalization of the acquisition of Tecnoceam, a historic society from the Parma province that has been a partner of leading international producers since 1979, supplying machines and customized plants for the processing of fresh produce.

Enrico Gribaudo, Ceo of Turatti, commented that "this operation is strategic for both companies to maintain the technological leadership and continue offering innovative and sustainable solutions to our clients. The group in fact strengthens its global leadership in the fresh-cut sector and now, thanks to the shared research and close collaboration of the two brands, the short-term objective is to become global specialists when it comes to ready-to-eat products to (pesto, cooked/grilled products, ready dishes)." 

The evolution of food technology, in fact, tends towards convenience foods that are ready, easy to consume, healthy and able to guarantee increasingly high safety and quality standards thanks to green production processes.

The combination of the two brands is essentially the fusion of two know-hows and of decades of experience to the advantage of clients.

Luca Spaggiari, president and CEO of Tecnoceam, believes that "Turatti is the right partner for Tecnoceam's know-how thanks to the extensive experience of the managerial team and sturdy shareholder structure."

Innovative companies that invest to modernize their processes prioritizing hygienic design, food safety and energy saving can therefore entrust a group with a solid background able to provide accessible technological solutions with a concrete added value when it comes to sustainability, cost reduction and safety.

As a priority, the group's technical group will continue to keep up to date with modern technologies relating to remote connection in order to maintain the safe assistance level high in terms of quality and promptness. 

The Turatti group has also started investing in structures with the construction of a new Turatti facility in Cavarzere (Venice). It is also planning on upgrading the Tecnoceam one in Collecchio (Parma). The two units, covering 12,000 sq m in total, will double the production capacity of the group and enable an increased level of efficiency and environmental sustainability.
