Fruit packaging needs to match the refined needs of the market

In recent years, the business model of China's fruit industry has become more and more diversified, and consumer requirements for commodities have been escalating. In addition to paying attention to the variety and quality of fruits, more and more attention has been paid to their outer packaging.

A few days ago, Freshplaza conducted an interview with a businessman who is committed to serving many boutique fruit stores, and he shared some of his observations on fruit packaging: "We see that more and more domestic boutique fruits are doing more and better on the packaging. There are constantly new breakthroughs. These boutique fruits not only have good taste and appearance but are better than imported fruits in terms of packaging.”

According to him, fine and beautiful fruit packaging is one of the focuses of customers in its boutique fruit stores. "Imported fruits were only packed in large boxes for a long time in the past, not only are the fruits in the boxes prone to being crushed but they're also unable to meet the refined needs of more and more mid-to-high-end fruit stores. But domestic fruit packaging is very diverse, more refined, and high-end.

"Take apples and oranges as an example, according to my observation, there is basically no improvement in imported packaging. It is still a traditional large carton and large wooden box. After the dealers buy the fruits, they have to choose one by one, because there will be many crushed fruits in the box. Then carry out secondary packaging. However, domestic packaging has been full of surprises in recent years, including boxes, bags, and barrels. The purchase experience of boutique fruit stores is very good, and sales are easier."

From the sales experience of this merchant, although the price of finely packaged fruit will be higher, it saves the store losses and the time taken for secondary selection and packaging; at the same time, the exquisite packaging also enhances the value of the fruit itself. So even if the price is slightly higher, it is still very popular in the market.
