The city of Valencia will host the I International Citrus Congress, Citrusforum, in June of 2022.
The event will be organized by Agromarketing Spain and it will feature prestigious research centers, as well as several of the sector's leading companies that will present the latest developments in the citrus sector.
The event will last two days and it will be held in a hybrid format. There will be face-to-face technical presentations and round tables with a limited capacity, and other presentations will be held online. The event will be broadcast online through the leading Spanish-language agricultural training platform for audiovisual content, Agromunity, with more than 12,000 registered professionals.
Citrusforum will contribute to the transfer of knowledge in a highly changing sector with a great capacity for digitization and innovation. It will also be a meeting point for producers, researchers, marketers, and professionals of the citrus sector's auxiliary industry as the organization plans to hold different coffee breaks among attendees and enable an area where they can conduct professional meetings.
The technical program will be divided into blocks. Some topics will focus on smart fertigation, pests and diseases, genetic improvement and new varieties, modernization of crops, post-harvest marketing, or organic farming.
Professionals interested in attending the congress and the companies that want to participate in it can now inquire and pre-register at the Congress' official website www.citrusforum.es, .
